Opening of Phlebotomy Vocational School Program at Medstar Laboratory in Collaboration with CICCD
Medstar Laboratory and Chicago Instruction Center for Career Development (CICCD) are proud to announce the opening of their new Phlebotomy vocational school program at Medstar Laboratory. This Medstar laboratory and CICCD extension program are in the current Medstar laboratory building at 4531 Harrison St. Hillside, IL 60162. Our philosophy is that all students are inspired to learn for the personal success and knowledge of the individual in Phlebotomy Education. Students at Medstar Laboratory and Chicago Instruction Center for Career Development Phlebotomy school will learn to their fullest potential and acquire the knowledge and skills that will ensure their proficiency in healthcare. This Chicago Instruction Center for Career Development extension location at Medstar laboratory will promote students’ awareness and communication of careers in allied health sciences and will graduate students on the path of professional development.

Medstar Laboratories, Inc. expands Golden Diners senior program to West Side
With a mission to give back to the community, Medstar Laboratory, Inc. president Neal Patel and his brother, chief operating officer Raj Patel, announced on January 10th that their company has launched a pilot program to expand their gourmet sit-down meals to 125 low-income seniors in two of the Habilitative Systems, Inc. buildings on the West Side of Chicago.
In an interview at his Hillside office, Neal Patel told the Chicago Crusader they are expanding their Golden Diners senior program. “We want to make them happy, make them feel special. Our team will go out there and serve them.”
If this pilot program to feed the food insecure seniors goes well, Neal Patel said his company will expand the free gourmet meal program citywide.
